I think it is a dish to serve a toddler or baby meals and the round part is to put a little cup in.

It’s a glass dish that holds both an ear of corn on the cob and butter.

I believe it's a Tupperware lid

Since it's yellow and 10 inches long, it probably is a corn dish, as others have said. But the round indentation seems a little strange. Maybe it's a plate for an au jus sandwich where you would put the broth in the small well?

It’s a corn cob plate with a well for butter; or, it’s a card game accessory...... a spot to hold a drink and a place for game pieces.

It looks like it's made of plastic, so it can't be too old, but I have no idea unless I go along with the guesses already submitted.

It’s a corn cob holder with a place for butter; or, it’s a card game accessory.....a place for your drink and the tray part to hold game pieces. Every player would have had one!

My guess is a dish for corn on the cob, with a handy space for butter! The yellow made me think of Shawnee corn pottery.
