Take Care Moving Paintings

Be careful when you send an antique or collectible to a dealer, auction, gallery, restorer, storage facility, or moving company. Get some form of receipt and contract describing the pieces and exactly what you are asking to be done. Keep a record. Paintings sent to be restored have been sold, storage boxes have been looted and not discovered for years, movers can damage or misplace things. Lawsuits are expensive and not very successful.
