In a recent auction, six corn-shaped Weller vases, identical except for the glaze, were sold. The price of a vase is determined by fame of the artist or factory, size, glazes, shape, use, rarity and condition. Prices ranged from $847 for Sicard glazes, green for the leaves, maroon for the corn kernels, to $133 for a version with green and yellow high glazes. An all copper glazed version brought $514. Another vase had art Nouveau glazes in natural colors.
