A Star Wars toy set the third world auction record in the past two years. A prototype rocket firing Boba Fett, an action figure by Kenner made about 1979 set the world record for any Star Wars toy and a toy model. It sold for $185,850. This beat the old record (July 2019) by about $73,000 which was about $26,500 higher than the third record (March 2018). The newest record toy was a prototype made for safety testing. It failed because the small missile was hazardous for children. It is thought there are only about seven of the recently sold toys remaining.
