On the Road—Lincoln Road Flea Market in Miami Beach

We recently took in this year’s edition of Miami Beach’s Lincoln Road flea market, considered one of the top street flea markets in the U.S. Flea market season on Miami Beach is from October to May, during peak tourist season and cooler weather. Several of the dealers head north for some shows in the summer.

This market has always had its share of vintage clothes and midcentury and modern designers. We noticed a lot more 1960s glass this year. It seems the next generation of dealers is finding a spot on the street as new, younger dealers replace some of the long-established vendors. At the Lincoln Road flea market you can always count on an eclectic mix of collectibles for sale and the fun of perusing them outdoors.
