At one and one quarter inches in diameter, it’s got to be a sewing button, maybe from/for an apron since the image is certainly a platter of sunny-side-up eggs with garnish.
Looks like an ornamental medallion, although I don’t see how one would attach it to anything.

Judging by the diameter, I’d guess it was a button but I would need to see the reverse to check if there was a method of attaching it to a garment

The dimension indicated is unclear, but if it’s reslly one and one-quarter inches in diameter it must be a decorative, whimsical sewing button, illustrating a breakfast of eggs and bacon, etc.
I believe this weeks guess is a bakelite button.

We don’t know if it has a cover, but possibly a pill box.
Well, I wish we knew: 1. what it’s made from and 2. If it moves or not? At first glance I’d guess an ornate, late Majolica lid for something small, like a dresser box. But, because its very small, maybe its a cat toy? or Some type of reminder or memory type toy that moves, and can add or subtract the balls from the base. Looks like there is some movement at the center. Hmmm.
