Cleaning Collectibles

Wear a short-sleeved shirt when cleaning shelves of collectibles like glasses, porcelain figurines or even large breakables. Long sleeves may brush items off the shelf. When you’re ready to wash the items, place a towel in the bottom of the sink, dip the pieces in soapy water, rinse and air dry. Clean and dry the shelves before putting everything back.
