Look at chandeliers, sconces, and lamps. Old ones are easy to paint, polish or re-plate and rewire. The old rubber cords are fire hazards and break. Unique fixtures are popular. Be sure there are new light bulbs that will fit in the sockets. Some sizes are no longer made. We saw a rock crystal chandelier being trashed because the new owners of the house thought the prisms with slight imperfections were dirty glass not pieces of a rock. An antique rock crystal “anything” sells for a high price.
