Damaged porcelains are very hard if not impossible to sell unless they are very rare examples of a famous factory or artist’s work. A small rim chip on an exceptional piece of Rookwood lowers the value by 30% to 50%. If repaired by an expert it would be about 10% less. A small chip on a teacup in grandma’s set of dishes for twelve is worthless but you may be able to find a replacement.
