Directory Help and Guidelines
Some of the material on this site first appeared in our book Kovels' Yellow Pages. All sources in the Directory were posted by the listed contact or by our editor and have been edited to fit our format. Addresses change frequently, and we continually update the information on this site. We welcome additions, corrections and new listings. This information may be used in some of our books, in our monthly newsletter Kovels' on Antiques and Collectibles and other Kovels' forums regardless of medium. Inclusion on this site should not be considered an endorsement of any kind by Kovels Antiques Inc.
How to Create a New Directory Listing

Make sure you have registered with Kovels.com and you are logged in.

Locate the “Directory” tab near the top of the webpage and click on it.

Click on the “Create a Listing” box on the left side of the webpage.

First, you must select which category of the directory you would like your post to be in. You may select up to five by holding the control (ctrl) key down while clicking on your choices.

Now that you have selected all of the categories for you directory listing, scroll down the page and begin filling in information regarding your listing. All fields with * are required.

At this time you may also add extra text and an image to your posting if you like for a fee.

When you are finished, click on the “Save Listing” box at the bottom of the page.

If your listing doesn't include the paid options (extra text and an image), it is complete and will appear in the directory after it is reviewed by our editor. If you need to change any of the details, click the edit button. The changes will appear immediately, but the listing will still need to be approved by our editor.

If you selected the paid options, the next screen will show you the features you have selected and prompt you for credit card payment. You will receive an email receipt after the system has processed your payment and your listing will appear in the directory after it is reviewed by our editor, usually within 2-3 business days.
How to Edit an Existing Listing

To edit a listing you have already created, first log in and find the red “My Account” box on the right side of the home page. One of the options in that box is “My Directory Ads,” click on this.

You will now be brought to a new page. Click on “View/Edit Current Listings.”

You will now see a list of your directory listings. To edit a listing, click the “Edit” link on the same line as the listing you would like to edit.

Make your changes and when finished, click on the “Save Listing” box at the bottom of the page.

Your listing will reappear in the directory after it is reviewed by our editor, usually within 2-3 business days.
How to Renew an Existing Paid Listing

To renew a paid listing you have already created, first log in and find the red “My Account” box on the right side of the home page. One of the options in that box is “My Directory Ads,” click on this.

You will now be brought to a new page. Scroll down to the bottom of this page and click on “View/Edit Current Postings”

You will now see a list of your directory listings. If you need to make changes to your listing, first click the “Edit” link on the same line as the listing you would like to edit.

Make your changes and when finished, click on the “Save” box at the bottom of the page. Click "View My Listings" on the next page to begin the renewal process.

To renew your listing, click the “Renew” link on the same line as the listing you would like to edit. The first page will show you the options you have selected. Click continue. The second screen will prompt you for credit card payment.

You will receive an email receipt after the system has processed your payment and your listing will reappear in the directory after it is reviewed by our editor, usually within 2-3 business days.
