This copper container is about 6.5″ tall, including the stopper. Stopper has a thick copper wire that almost reaches the bottom. The wire is flattened and shaped into a shallow spoon. There are no mal\ker’s marks that I have found. WHAT IS IT???
What country are you in and where did you get this container ?? Is there an opening to put something into the container !! Top looks very small !! There are a couple of possibilities !!
I am in the USA. Florida Keys, specifically. I am trying to research this item. I got it from someone who had an antique store out in Oregon. He thinks it is a gun powder flask, but I doubt it. The “spoon” would not give you much gun powder. The opening at the top is about .25″ wide. No other way to fill it.
