Madonna of the Streets (Madonnina)

Roberto Ferruzzi (1854-1934)

This is very old. It is stretched and tacked to some kind of stiff backing with a yellowed crisp paper cover.

I know it is a version of “Madonna of the Streets” by Roberto Ferruzzi (1854-1934).

But I don’t see any signage.

It looks to be some kind of transfer on fabric/canvas.

In my research I have found numerous versions of this painting. Curious if mine is the original image.

Does anyone have any more info; or where I could take it to have it examined?
