Shown mark is often claimed to be of german origin, constantly backed up by some story and hints towards one of the larger german manufacturers. These stories are all false; items with this mark are everything but from Germany and all mentioned attributions can easily be proven incorrect.

Even larger items were slip-cast and the overall state of these items is far too good for their claimed age. Another red light is the absence of this mark in all known mark reference books.
