You might check at www.gotheborg.com but with all the variations,,if you have a Chinese market near you someone there may be able to decipher parts of it !! It may be a company or artist name or almost anything !! Some only identify the region where made,,others may tell the reign or who the ruler was at that time !! And then there are those that are only made in a similar manner as older ones !! Its a crap shoot as to what it may say !!
I am thinking Chinese rather than Japanese as the characters look more similar to Chinese !! But I could be wrong !!
