I have a planter or bowl with the mark C P across a banner containing USA. Can’t seem to find anything other than guesses online that all seem to be dead ends. Anyone know what pottery this is? Just want to make sure it isn’t really old before I plant my herbs in it.

I saw that online as well, but was hoping someone had a more definitive answer.
I only paid a few dollars for it, was just hoping to find out where it was made. Thanks. My herbs will be very happy in their new home.

Most think this could be Cookson pottery, from Ohio or one of the California potteries !! Since they did not register marks and what is known is because of independent research,, could be either one !! That said however,, the value is less than $20. so plant your herbs in it and enjoy it !!
