I have searched on the internet for information on them to no avail .

Well,, my friend couldn`t read it !! Are you in the USA ?? If so,, I would take the brochure to any Japanese market and ask if someone there can read it !! I know many do not speak Japanese but some of the older generation probably can tell what it says !! Mid century there were many Japanese imports and a lot of the companies were small and are not in business today !! That makes finding them almost impossible since keeping records was not a priority !!
Capishell may not be a company name at all since these are made of Capiz Shell Which is frequently written as capishell !! These shells were a popular hobby craft item in many areas of Asia !!

Have cross posted this to another forum !! I have a friend that may be able to tell what it says !! He has some knowledge of the Japanese language !! There are many of these Japanese imports !! They were all made for the western market and never used in Japan !! I am not sure what dialect it is !!

i did find out they are from the 40’s or 50’s when my dad was in the navy he brought them home and they have been in storage until about 5 years ago my sister found them and displayed them

the address on the back bottom of brochure
according to google translate is
Art Capscher
kane 516 Ise City, Mie Prefecture
2-Chome Okamoto No.1 35
no.tel Ise (0596) 28-3537
