This is what I received form Corning Museum of Glass:
Thank you for your question. I have attached a scan from a book about the Ingrid line by Hoffman and Schlevogt, Czechoslovakian glass makers. A head matching the images you sent is pictured in the trade catalog section of this book. However, I cannot seem to find any information about the Arcadia sticker. Schlevogt and Hoffman generally marked their pieces with a butterfly or an Ingrid sticker or mark. I have read articles indicating that after the company dissolved the molds were sold to other glass companies. The mold for this piece, may have been sold to another company. Articles have also been written indicating that works by Czech companies from this time period are often reproduced and sold as originals by companies in the Czech Republic and importers. Unfortunately, I cannot help you determine if your piece is from the Ingird line or not. You may wish to contact an appraiser to have your piece authenticated. Best of luck.

Well,, I have spent two days looking and nothing shows up by that name in the Czech Republic,, now or ever !!There are coffee shops and hotels by that name but nothing even close to glass or crystal !! This site does not even have the name mentioned that I could find !! However I saw several other items with the same sticker So it could be just an import sticker !! My suggestion is to contact the Corning Museum of Glass and see if perhaps they know its origin !! Be sure and send a good close up pic of the sticker with the head and stand !! Others have said that they have helped them research a hard to find item !! Link is above !! Tell them anything you know about the sculpture !!
Be sure and update this when you hear back !!

This was found in an attic of an old house in Western Mass, actually in the late 1970’s. The head is attached to the base, but it does look like the original setting because the frosted finish of the head is the same as the base.
Although there is not a lot of detail to the head, this actually is an elegant looking piece.
I have tried a few times over the years to locate something similar, but I have also not seen anything close, this is why I’m reaching out once again.

How did you come to own this piece ?? Is the head attached in anyway to the base ?? The head itself is not really well done and I question if the base may have previously been with a different piece !! Found nothing associated with Arcadia similar to this !!
