Hello

I am new here and was wondering about a couple of pieces that I have.  I do not know where to ask my questions so I thought I would try here. My questions are as follows:

I have a set of 67 dishes that includes a place setting for 5, extra plates extras of all of it except the bowels. it says somerset  By NL EXCEL made in China on the bottom. They have blue and pink flowers on the edges of them and the plates are fairly big, almost 10 inches.  For a set it has a big saucer and a teacup saucer.

I have a membership I am paying for the year after my day trial is up, yet it keeps telling, me to upgrade my membership.

I also have some fine china that on the bottom it says Sheffield 501.

I also have those very interesting sugar and creamer set they have good trim and have the RS with the star above it and the wreath.  It is in Blue                       If anyone could help me it would be great.  I would like to send pics but do not know how to make them small enough that they would up load.

Thank you

Rebekahjoe

I am also confused – first of all, why a “membership”? This forum is free of charge; only the utterly useless or outdated segments of the Kovels website are blocked behind a paywall.

Then you try to explain what you have. However you forgot the questions, respectively. The NL Excel set, for example. Pattern name, estimated value, or what are you looking for? Pattern names, if any, can be looked upon Replacements.com … estimating value often narrows down to one third (!) of the Replacements.com selling price, often less (check eBay closed auctions).

Same goes for Sheffield China, originating from Japan. Also lots of hits online.

The RS in a wreath *could* be “Reinhold Schlegelmilch” aka “RS Prussia”. There are however many fakes around. An RS Prussia expert should be able to name mold and pattern codes and names.
