University City Pottery

University City Pottery, of University City, Missouri, worked from 1909 to 1915. Well-known artists, including Taxile Doat, Adelaide Alsop Robineau, and Frederick Hurten Rhead, worked there. Pieces made by University City Pottery were often covered with crystalline glazes, and Doat's pate-sur-pate technique was also used.
