Doulton was founded about 1858 in Lambeth, England. A second factory was opened in Burslem, England, by 1871. The name Royal Doulton appeared on the company's wares after 1902 and is listed in the Royal Doulton category. Other Doulton ware is listed here. Doulton’s Lambeth factory closed about 1956.
