Daniel Boone was born on November 2, 1734 near Reading, Pennseylvania. A pre-Revolutionary War folk hero, he was also a surveyor, trapper, and frontiersman. A television series, which ran from 1964 to 1970, was based on his life and starred Fess Parker. All types of Daniel Boone memorabilia are collected.
