Royal Doulton Prototype
Q: I recently purchased a small jug which I’ve identified as “The Soldier.” My problem is on the base, where it only has the back stamp for the late 1930s with the word “PROTOTYPE” above it. Could you please give me any information on it, or tell me where I might find info?
