Footstool
Q: I bought this years ago in an antiques shop. I was told it was from the 18th or 19th century and was used to put your feet on while in a rocking chair to avoid cold drafts on your feet. Someone once told me it was a gout stool, but I’ve never been able to find anything about it. There are no markings. What do you think this is?
