Folk Art Handkerchiefs

Q: I found these handkerchiefs in a deceased relative’s suitcase. I’ve had them for about 20 years and had them framed. The handkerchiefs are edged with an imprinted red design, and the art work is pen and ink, on one side only. The first one has joined hands and says, “You and I.” The second says “Sport at Ft. Wadsworth Station” and “Won’t you be my sweetheart.” I found that Ft. Wadsworth is the oldest active fort in the United States. The relative who had these handkerchiefs wasn’t in the military.
