Q: I bought this carousel horse in the early 1970s. It appears to have been made in several sections. It has carved teeth, eyes, mane, horsehair tail, a saddle and saddle bags. The saddle has a reverse dog’s head saddle horn. I’ve had a few people in the know look at it and it’s been speculated it was made oversees, perhaps as a gift or presentation to a VIP. I need help to determine its age, the country of origin, and estimate of value.
