Black Forest Carved Plaque

Q: Can you tell us where this plaque might have been carved and an estimate of value? It’s one of several carved wood pieces that have been in my husband’s family for about 100 years. We think it was brought back from Germany by one of his relatives who emigrated from Germany in 1899. He and his wife took several trips back to Germany to visit family and we believe this was brought back on one of those trips.
