All that glitters is gold, at least when it is associated with the late pop icon Michael Jackson. One of the Swarovski crystal-studded gloves worn on stage by Jackson in his iconic 1984 Victory Tour sold this week for $112,500 in a Heritage Auctions sale. While impressive, the price is below the $350,000 auction price paid in 2009 and $420,000 in 2012 for similar gloves from the same tour. The glove was designed by costume designer Bill Whitten for the tour and included a letter of authenticity. Perhaps adding to the value because it was evidence it was worn, the glove had some minor stains from stage wear, loose threading and three missing crystals on the palm.
