Q: I have a willow design dish with this mark on the bottom. Does it have any value?

A: Your dish was made in England by one of the Staffordshire Potteries before 1860. Thomas Godwin of the Canal Works in Burslem, Staffordshire, England, used “T.G.” as a mark. He was in business in Burslem from 1834 to 1854. Thomas Goodfellow also used the initials as a mark at his Phoenix Works in Tunstall, Staffordshire. He was in business from 1828 to 1859. Although your dish is over 150 years old, it is probably not of great value. A blue willow platter with this mark sold at auction for $35 in 2012. Your dish, which is smaller than a platter, would sell for less.
