Q: I have an ewer with lots of cherubs, mermaids, dolphins, and a satyr that has this PF mark. Can you tell me who made it?

A: In 1877, Triebner, Ens & Eckert took over a pottery in Volkstedt, Germany, that had been making porcelain under a succession of owners since 1762. Eckert left the partnership to start his own porcelain factory and the company name was changed to Oldest Volkstedt Porcelain Factory, Triebner, Ens & Co. in 1894. It used this mark from 1884 to 1894.
