Star & Sun

Pottery & Porcelain Marks – Star & Sun: Marks of stars and suns have been used since the end of the 19th century and throughout the 20th and 21st centuries. Star marks usually have the basic line border, but sun marks are often more elaborate, with detailed rays and joined by company names. Most of these marks were used in Europe and Japan, a few in the United States.
