The WVIZ/PBS Televised Auction is an exciting live television event to help raise funds for WVIZ/PBS Ideastream in Cleveland. The auction starts on Thursday, April 28, and continues through Sunday, May 1. Terry, a longtime supporter of WVIZ, will be auctioning antiques and collectibles from the practical to the priceless on air and online at the “X Table” on Thursday, Friday and Sunday.

Viewers can enjoy the thrill of live bidding—online or by phone—on thousands of items, everything from antiques and collectibles to wine, restaurant and grocery gift certificates, tickets to theater and sporting events, trips and priceless special events.

Antiques lovers will have lots to bid on. There will be a large amount of antique glass—over 60 bottles from a famous collection—as well as Sandwich glass, carboys and early American pressed glass with Bellflower and Frosted Chicken patterns. Furniture offerings include a southern yellow pine cabinet, roll top desk, pie safe, crib, antique chairs, and multiple dining room sets. Unique items include a 1930s toy store, dough box, Clark’s spool cabinet and much more. Everything is sold without reserve.

Viewers can preview auction items and register to bid online or by phone (866-393-2525) by going to the WVIZ website, http://www.ideastream.org/auction. Please note that successful bidders who live outside the Cleveland area must pay shipping costs for anything larger than a gift certificate. There are always bargains and great surprises, as well as the unexpected, so join the fun – and see Terry – on April 28, 29 and May 1!
