It would be a lot easier to guess most of these items if the pictures were clearer and larger. It's impossible to see much with a lot of these images.

It is a box holding a bar of pine rosin which is used as flux in soldering metal.

Is it some type of sharpener? It looks like there's a tool of some sort in the back of the box and for some reason a knife sharpener or some type of file comes to mind!
