Value Links to Proof of Connections to Famous People or Events

Often the value of an antique or collectible is determined by the fame of the owner or if it was related to a famous or historic event. But there must be proof in writing or pictures from the time of the event, like a picture of you and the baseball player autographing the ball, or the mention of the jewelry in a will. Family stories told for years do not count.
