Q: This was my grandmother’s soup tureen. It’s complete with ladle, underplate and lid. It was. Is this a Hull Pottery product? I just can’t seem to identify who the maker is. Would you be able to assist?

A: Your grandmother’s soup tureen was made by Pfaltzgraff Pottery, a company founded in York, Pennsylvania, in 1811. This tureen was part of Pfaltzgraff’s Gourmet line of brown drip stoneware made from 1950 to 1987. Pfaltzgraff became part of Lifetime Brands, Inc., in 2005. A set recently sold online for $85 plus shipping and sales tax.
