A man remodeling his aunt's home in Minnesota almost threw away an old comic book mixed in with newspapers used as insulation. Action Comics No. 1 introduced Superman in 1938. The found copy was damaged from the heat its use as insulation caused and from some rough treatment after it was found. The back cover is detached and some pages are crumbling, but bidding was at $141,000 yesterday. The auction ends next Tuesday, June 11, 2013. Watch the bidding or bid yourself at www.comicconnect.com.
