To deodorize an old, musty wooden drawer, try this. Put uncooked coffee grounds in the leg of an old pair of panty hose. Tie it shut. Put it in the drawer for a few days.

I have a very nice Griswold double skillet top, that has a red discoloration to it. My husband said that he has heard of cast iron turning red, if someone has made lead bullets in it. Is this true? I would love to use this skillet, but am concerned of possible lead content.

You can use dryer sheets- or use a orange peel, or tangerine peel. works great. Better than coffee because then you have a fresh smell rather than coffee.

I have an old blouse that I want to get the perfume smell from getting my asthma going. Will the coffee grounds work?
