Stevengraphs
In Coventry, England, about 1860, weaver Thomas Stevens adapted his loom to produce woven bookmarks, fancy ribbons, and other novelties. He developed Stevengraphs, woven silk pictures that were mounted on cardboard and sold to be hung in homes.
