West Germany
West German pottery was made in West Germany from the end of World War II until the Berlin Wall fell in 1989. Most was produced from 1954 to the late 1970s. Many of the forms were traditional, but there was some experimentation with asymmetry and exaggeration. West German potters made jugs and vases.
