Mickey Mouse Wristwatch

A 1933 Mickey Mouse watch, the first and very rare version in its original box with a foil sticker of “A Century of Progress,” sold recently at Hake’s for $11,422. Most MM wristwatches found are from the second year of production or were copied from the second year’s version, making this first-year watch rare.
