A New Auction House in Cleveland

Another full-service auction company is opening in a Cleveland suburb. It’s called Neue Auctions. Buyer’s premium is only 18 percent for sellers, 15 percent for buyers. Is that a sign that prices are dropping for middle market antiques? Or is it just part of the start-up promotion? The galley is run by an antiques dealer with a long and successful history of selling in the area and doing major shows.
