Vintage men’s sunglasses are the latest style. “They give you a different persona,” according to a fashion expert writing in the Financial Times (London). Check out your local antique shops and flea markets for Wayfarers, favored by Jack Nicholson, or classic Ray-Ban Aviators. There are several vintage eyeglass-frame dealers who can even fit old frames with your prescription lenses. Fashion rules to remember: Never wear sunglasses indoors, and probably never at a wedding even if it’s outdoors. Wear them on your face, not on your forehead or the top of your head. Frames should not match your skin tone; a dark tortoiseshell is usually flattering. And, of course, vintage sunglasses are fashionable for women, too.
