The Nostalgia Effect

Nostalgia does strange things to inventors. Today’s techies can buy an app that turns a cell phone into a high-powered camera. You can also buy a vintage radio that originally used tubes and replace its wiring with electronics and a speaker. Then you can plug the radio into an iPod, iPhone or any MP3 player. That seems as odd as the pushbutton phones made to look like vintage dial phones.
