Soap

Everything old is new again, including soap. Old-fashioned bar soap is back in style. It is replacing the liquid soaps that came in a bottle with a pump. Refills were often in a plastic bag. Those worried about the tons of plastic waste want bar soap like ivory or scented hard-milled soaps that use a soap dish. Small salad or desert plates or vintage soap dishes made for hotels can be used. Some soap is made with a wide edge so it can be left to dry on it’s side. Be sure to wipe the dish clean occasionally.
