A picture of 36 autographed palm prints in a square of six up and six across was framed and offered for sale for $35,000 at the Metro Show in New York City in January. The prints, collected from 1925 to 1935, were the work of Marianne Raschig, a palmist from Weimer, Germany. Was she making a record of life lines and other palm markers she used to tell fortunes?
