Outdated Houses Demolished

Kim Kovel reports that some builders on Miami Beach are demolishing outdated houses and building new, larger ones. But she was stunned when she saw bulldozers destroying a house still filled with furniture and lighting fixtures. Too bad they didn’t offer the contents to a charity or at least pile the furnishings in the front yard, where frugal collectors could have picked things up free.
