Mannequin Wearing Corset

A large glass box holding a mannequin wearing a corset was sold at a Showtime auction in Michigan in April for $17,100. The box, with original etched and gold-leaf decoration, was an early 1900s store display piece for C/B À La Spirite corsets. It is 42 by 23 1/2 by 20 inches. A store display that includes the actual product has added value, according to Showtime’s Mike Eckles.
