Remember the heavy iron pots with orange enamel finish that Grandma used to make pot roast or chili? These pots by Le Creuset were first made in 1925 in France. They are still made at the same factory and still made of recycled metal. They are smoothed and sprayed with one of 50 colors of enamel. Collectors buy the original shapes and the 1958 pots designed by Raymond Loewy. Damaged knobs on covers can be replaced with knobs still made by the company. Some pots were made in limited editions, colors are different in different countries, and there are additions to the original line. An interesting collection.
