James Bond Car

A Long Island man bought a storage locker in 1989 for $100. It held an old Lotus Esprit with a dented roof and no wheels. At first the new owner didn’t realize he had discovered James Bond’s “submarine car” from the 1977 movie, The Spy Who Loved Me. Restored to excellent condition, the car was auctioned in London last September for $997,000.
