Iowa State College pottery is not well-known to art pottery collectors, but the Journal of American Art Pottery had several articles about the history and making of the pottery. It started in 1906, hired Paul Cox in 1920, and in 1922 added fine pottery making to Home Economics courses. Pieces were made of Iowa clay and marked ISC. Vases and pots are scarce today and very much in demand.
