In Clocks Bigger is Better

Twenty years ago on our TV show, we featured an antiques show booth that had about six huge clock faces for sale. None were sold. Today, the antique examples sell for thousands of dollars and new ones are sold at big box stores and decorating departments for hundreds of dollars. There is even a TV show that features a wall of clock faces in almost every episode. Almost any clock is a welcome addition to a room, but today, bigger is better. Best are clocks that keep time, but many are bought just for “the look.”
